Metropolis Performing Arts Centre in Arlington Height, Illinois will be celebrating the holidays throughout November and December with marvelous musical performances by The Illinois Brass Band, The Lakeside Singers, Michael Ingersoll and Corky Siegel & Megon McDonough. Metropolis can help add to the holiday spirit with Christmas and holiday music that adds festivity to the season.
Illinois Brass Band
The holiday season is kicked off on Friday, November 20 at 8 PM with the sounds of The Illinois Brass Band as they sing classic Christmas carols and jazzy holiday favorites. Tickets $30.
Lakeside Singers
Enjoy the musical harmonies of The Lakeside Singers as they perform all holiday music from traditional Christmas carols and hymns to modern day tunes on Monday, December 7 at 8 P.M. Tickets $35, Seniors and Students $25.
Michael Ingersoll and the Mulligan Mosiacs Big Band
A visit from Michael Ingersoll and the Mulligan Mosaics Big Band make any holiday brighter. Here for one night only, Monday, December 14 at 7:30 P.M. Tickets $40, Stage Tables $45.
Corky Siegel and Megon McDonough
Local treasures Corky Siegel and Megon McDonough wrap up the season with their special holiday cabaret show on Sunday, December 20 at 7:30 P.M. Tickets $45.

Holiday musical performances are part of the Music series at Metropolis, dedicated to bringing in big name artists to an intimate, acoustically perfect and exclusive venue. More music shows in the 2009/10 season include performances by Abba Salute, Marc Cohn, Liz Carroll, George Winston and Siegel-Schwall.
