Prior to every home game at Joe Louis Arena the fans are treated to this video meant to capture the game day atmosphere in Detroit.
It is fitting the team would select the Ecstasy of Gold as the musical accompaniment to their pre-game video, after all it is an Olympic season, and as many as 10 Red Wings could suit up for their respective countries.
The music was composed by Ennio Morricone as part of the score for the 1966 movie "The Good , the Bad, and the Ugly" starring Clint Eastwood.
Be sure to enjoy the video prior to every game to recreate the game day atmosphere in your own home.
