This evening (Friday, July 3), Clovis area residents can enjoy the sounds of Uncle Ephus in Veterans Memorial Park, on Fifth Street in Clovis next to the Senior Center. Uncle Ephus is difficult to classify, but their repertoire runs to old-timey, bluegrass, and folk tunes. Instrumentation includes guitar, mandolin, bass, banjo, fiddle, washboard, and pennywhistle! Music begins at 6:30pm. Snacks are available for sale to benefit the senior center. Restrooms also available inside the Senior Center building. Bring a folding chair, and enjoy this entertaining music while beating the heat on the lush lawn under the trees at Veterans Memorial Park. Admission is free. This is a great way to kick off your Fourth of July weekend!
