First of all, I would just like to point out that I was 4/4 in my NFL playoff picks from last week (Arizona, San Diego, Baltimore and Philadelphia)
The ESPN.com fantasy sports writers have been filling out this survey, so I thought it would be fun to do my own version of what they put out. This is the baseball version, just a friendly reminder that pitchers and catchers report Feb, 14.

Franklyn Gutierrez, I’m trying to trust Jackie Z, but I really don’t think he got the right player to roam center field at Safeco
Which player are you not buying but will likely disappoint everyone else?
Josh Hamilton, only because I don’t think he’ll be able to put up nearly the same numbers as he did in 2008. He’ll still be great, just not as great as everyone expects.
Any sport, who will be the best rookie to emerge in 2009?
Blake Griffin looks like an NBA star already. I’m also keeping an eye on Ben Revere as he makes his way through the Minnesota Twins’ farm system.
... but everyone is going to think it's going to be?
Tyler Hansbrough. I know a draft bust when I see one (I called it with Brady Quinn) and he does not look like he has legitimate NBA potential.
Who will be …
… the first player drafted in fantasy baseball leagues? People still can’t turn down A-Rod, but it should be Hanley Ramirez
… the first pitcher? Johan Santana will be drafted ahead of Tim Lincecum, a mistake that will be made all over fantasy baseball leagues
… the first rookie? Travis Snider or Matt Weiters, both legitimate fantasy starters
… the player who'll start the season in Triple-A to everyone's frustration? Chase Utley while he rehabs his hip
