Beaming down on us for 4 days in a row now, the sun came to stay longer than we expected but has quickly retreated. With your beach chairs and colorful umbrellas marking your territory for the past few days, there is no going wrong with laying out in the beautiful Hamptons, with the exception of using SPF higher than 5! However, check the weather report before heading over to your favorite beach because you may get stuck in a rain storm.

dune road beach Seeing as Saturday was perfect weekend beach weather many locals and visitors traveled to Dune Road or took their boat out for a drive. These next few days people are back to work but choosing to take their break out in the sun. Go to the local CVS or RiteAid first and pick up a new bottle of sunscreen with helioplex protection of an SPF ranging from 15-60. Last years bottle needs to be chucked and replaced so you keep that beautiful young skin healthy and glowing. Don't forget to reapply every so often or you will end up looking like your lobster friend who forgot to apply to her back!

Saturday if you missed it was the store opening of Tommy Hilfiger in East Hampton. Some guests were Olivia Palermo and Erica Lucas from the MTV show, The City. Another name for the older crowd is John Oates the singer in the duo Hall & Oates. The main star of the event was Molly Sims who showed up in a cute all white outfit. She had on white fitted jeans, a simple brown belt, and a sheer white shirt with cuffed sleeves. The perfect casual summer look with slicked back hair and a summer glow we are all trying to obtain this summer.

Tip: Make your shopping trips when the streets are not packed with window shoppers. Some locations to shop at are Blue1 in Westhampton Beach, Smith in Southampton, Tommy Hilfiger in East Hampton, or Screaming Mimi’s in Montauk.

What's In and Out of the Day:

In- Leaving your sunroof open while stopping at Citarella.

Out- Taking your roof off your Jeep Wrangler right before a thunderstorm blows in.
