After all the hype from Sunday not being rainy, at least far out east, a new week is upon us. Yet of course it is filled with more and more rain, except for possibly Thursday with the weather man saying it should be partly cloudy. Considering the temperature in the high 70s all week one must find a happy medium here in the Hamptons. Save some time and pack a bathing suit, long sleeve, and towel for your travels, in case the sun comes out you can head to the beach on your break.Hamptons sunset

If you haven’t already gotten your beach passes now is the time to get them. That way when the sun finally decides to show this summer you can just drive in and get your tan on. Some of the popular places are Coopers Beach in Southampton, Jetty 4 in Westhampton, and Main Beach in East Hampton. However, those are only a few of the beautiful beaches found in the Hamptons so don't settle.

Just don’t expect to be lying next to the “famous” Hampton people you hear all about. They do have enough money to have their own private spot to bathe and lay in the sun. However, if they have kids you are more likely to see them splashing in the ocean waves with them.

Along with your travel beach bag don’t forget your camera because apparently beautiful days at the beach may not come too often for a while. Capture the happiness while you can so you can finally fill that frame next to your desk reminding you of where you could be.

Tip: Scope out the beaches before getting your pass because you may want to spend more money on a pass for a private beach rather than just a town pass. For beginner photographers try the Canon PowerShot S410.

What’s In and Out for the Day:

In-Spending $6 on a small salad and a small dish of fruit at Schmidt's Market.
Out- Going out to Golden Pear to spend $3.50 on an iced tea.
