Whimsical luxury home furnishings company MacKenzie-Childs joins October's fight to help defeat breast cancer. This October is the 25th anniversary of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and MacKenzie-Childs will donate 10% of sales of all of its products with the word “Pink” in the name to the Continuum Cancer Centers' Breast Reconstruction Fund.

The Continuum Breast Cancer Reconstruction Fund was created to improve access to care and patient education and to support research in breast reconstruction. The Fund's mission is to ensure that all women faced with breast cancer have the opportunity to restore a sense of self-esteem and overall well-being. Ongoing research relating to breast reconstruction leading to improving the quality of life after mastectomy is of the highest standard. Continuum Cancer Centers of New York, located in New York City at Beth Israel Medical Center and St Luke's and Roosevelt Hospitals, include some of the nation’s most widely-respected cancer care programs and physicians treating breast cancer.
“We are pleased to support the important work of this organization in the fight against breast cancer. From Pink Fish Rugs and Pink Honeymoon Dinnerware to our Pink Diva Chair - we have more than 70 pink products that will contribute to this fundraising effort,” says Lee Feldman, CEO of MacKenzie-Childs.

Purchases can be made online at the MacKenzie-Childs website or in the company’s three retail stores including New York City, Palm Beach and Aurora, New York.
We've also put together a little slideshow to show some of our favorite MacKenzie-Childs "objects of desire," but meanwhile Think Pink and visit the MacKenzie-Childs site to help them help Continuum's vital breast cancer work.
