Looking for a place to watch the final four this weekend? Well look no further. A few North End restaurants offer great environments to watch the culmination of this exciting tournament. Tip off for the first semi-final game is at 6:07 pm on Saturday with UConn taking on Michigan State followed by Villinova and North Carolina at 8:47pm. The final is Monday April 6th.
Goody Glover's at the beginning of Salem Street has a quaint, intimate tavern feel with television screens and a new menu. It's a great place for a group of friends to take over with a second bar and old fashioned lounge upstairs. When the weather gets nicer the restaurant sets up tables outside on the sidewalk.
For a more classic bar feel the Waterfront Cafe Bar & Grill is the destination for you. Located on 450 Commerical Street the bar has a giant screen to view the game and a handful of other flat screens disperse throughout so you don't miss a minute of the action. The bar was featured in USA Today as one of the "10 great places to drink in the Super Bowl action".
The Living Room, the epitome of a lounge-style bar has a giant TV which will also be airing the final four this weekend. It is on the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Richmond Street as well as one of my favorite bars because of the super comfortable couches and amazing food. They offer a pretty impressive martini menu that is worth a try.
So no matter whom you are cheering for this Saturday and Monday, the North End will provide you with a variety of environments to watch the final two games of the tournament.
