In consideration of the country's economic downfall one North End Restaurant is offering a alternative menu so those of us who can barely afford to eat out anymore can still dine in style without breaking the bank.

Tresca has a discounted stimulus menu with the same great food but at a fixed price.  For $29.95 diners can get a three course meal of the quality authentic Italian food the restaurant is known for.  For the first course, the antipasti, you get the choice of one of two salads or a soup.  The second, a meat or vegitarian pasta.  Finally the last course, the piatto principali you can choose a chicken, meat or fish dish.

I have dined at Tresca, the food is delicious but normally pretty expensive.  The stimulus menu enables customers to indulge in great dishes for a fraction of the price!

FYI: the stimulus menu is only offered Sunday through Thursday through the end of winter.  Tresca is located on 233 Hanover Street.
