The North End Music and Performing Arts Center(NEMPAC) is holding it's 2nd annual Bocce Tournament Friday March 13th at the Steriti Rink, 561 Commercial street. Doors will open at 6pm for teams to arrive, practice and register. The tournament will start at 7pm with a few remarks from Mayor Menino who will then bowl out the honorary bocce ball.
There will be food and a raffle with items such as Celtics tickets, gift certificates and a 50/50 raffle. Last year NEMPAC rasied $1,500 and are hopinng to raise $2,000 this year.
And after a night of bocce there' nothing like a cold beer so join everyone down the street to the Waterfront Bar and Grill for an after party.
