John Nielsen hosted a classic rock show in Jackson for 12 years, known as The Professor. John was raised in New Orleans where his childhood love of blues and rock intensified. By age 18, John was haunting clubs all over the Crescent City listening to live music from blues legends and attending rock concerts at The Warehouse and Municipal Auditorium.
