When a 15-year-old boy told his teacher that he was having a homosexual affair with an older man, the educator encouraged the relationship rather than reporting it as required by law.

The teacher who failed to report the statutory rape was Kevin Jennings, Obama’s “Safe School Czar” who is responsible for ensuring the safety of our nation’s students. Jennings is pictured below in a photo from the Department of Education website.
The incident was documented in an audiotape of a speech that Mr. Jennings gave to the Iowa chapter of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network in 2000. This advocacy group promotes homosexuality in schools.
Jennings also boasts about how he handled the boy’s concerns in his own book “One Teacher in 10,” written in 1994.
In that book, Jennings said that the boy “left my office with a smile on his face that I would see every time I saw him on the campus for the next two years, until he graduated."
An editorial in the Washington Times condemns Jennings' handling of the situation.
“In this one case in which Mr. Jennings had a real chance to protect a young boy from a sexual predator, he not only failed to do what the law required but actually encouraged the relationship."
