Robert Pattinson claims to neither be romantic nor pregnant (on MTV news interview)

Robert Pattinson has been reported as saying that he doesn’t think he’s a very romantic fellow. When asked, he said he couldn’t think of a single romantic thing he has ever done except for leaving a flower in the locker of a Maria, but then another guy she liked claimed it was his doing, so Rob never got the chance to further his magic at the age of fifteen.
He then goes on to say that Twilight wasn’t appealing because it was romantic, or a movie aimed for girls, but because it’s a sad story and he could see himself being part of such an epic project.
Robert also thinks that there are some aspects of Edward that are his own.
“Stubbornness about some things, I guess. He’s pretty self-righteous and I guess I am [too]. Yeah, um, I also get obsessive and possessive about things. Specific ideas about [how] I want to do my work and how I'm being perceived to the point of ridiculousness sometimes. That’s why I don’t have a publicist; I can’t stand it if someone is trying to tell me to do something.”
Pattinson sat with MTV and clarified another rumor. He’s not pregnant! When asked what was the most peculiar thing he’s found while Googling himself, he said it was a front-page story with the headline that he was pregnant. He laughs when explaining and said “it’s not even ironic!”
