Lady Gaga announced over the weekend that the re-release of The Fame was scratched and The Fame Monster would become an EP, on its own. Well, there seem to be three versions that have been put out so far.
1) The EP, which will just be the 8 new tracks.
2) A deluxe version which will include all the songs from The Fame plus the 8 new tracks
3) The Super Elite Fan Edition, which is the two above plus a book signed by Gaga (and 3-D glasses included)
Gaga also becomes the first artist in the 17-year history of Billboard’s Pop Songs chart to have four #1 songs from a debut album as “Paparazzi” rand the bell last week.
Only three artists have had three #1 songs from their debut albums: Ace of Base, Avril Lavigne and Alanis Morissette (Although Alanis is excluded because Jagged Little Pill wasn’t her debut album).
