Lady Gaga appeared on German show Wetten Das to give a sneak peek of her “Bad Romance” music video (which looks, as Geri Halliwell would say, “White hot!”). The songstress apparently “fought” her record label for the re-release of The Fame, Fame Monster, on November 23rd. Apparently Gaga is aware of the economy and struggling music industry (and perhaps that Rihanna, Adam Lambert and Susan Boyle, among others, release their new discs that same day) so she wants to allow her fans to not spend “as much money” and be able to get her now separate disc, or Extended Play, a la Miley Cyrus.
What a business woman, and underneath it all it does seem that Gaga is the driving force behind her entire career, making sure that the worldwide release is not only affordable, but now it is possible that she debuts at #1 on the Billboard 200. The EP will now be costing anything from $5.99-10.99 depending on the retailer in its standard edition.
There is also a deluxe, booklet+fashion+poster (and a piece of Gaga’s hair) edition too.
Watch the interview (sucks that it wasn’t done as previous WD interviews, and her voice is mainly dimmed by the translator’s):
