If you are looking for a great, talented, hilarious, and GLBT-friendly cast look no further than the film Dare. It opens selectively nationwide on November 11th.

The film stars Emmy Rossum (The Day After Tomorrow), Zach Gilford (TV’s Friday Night Lights) and Ashely Springer (Teeth), Ana Gasteyer (SNL/Mean Girls), Sandra Bernhard (Roseanne/Will & Grace), and Alan Cumming (Spice World/X2: X-Men United).

Take a look:

When a pompous actor tells good girl Alexa (Rossum) that she hasn't lived, she embarks on a bold journey that takes her to mysterious bad boy Johnny (Gilford). Envious, her shy best friend Ben (Springer) also dares to pursue Johnny, complicating Alexa's romance and pushing the boundaries among the three friends

“The good girl, the outsider and the bad boy…like you’ve never seen them before.”

This ménage-a-trois film is reminiscent of teen-films like Teaching Mrs. Tingle but with the intelligence of Saved!, and the addition of a penis. This seems to be the type of film that allows such interesting concepts to shine through: the complications of youth, angst, lust, romance and companionship. With convincing acting, and thorough self-analysis, whether a mental of carnal thrill, Dare delivers.
