Former American Idol contestant Kellie Pickler has been reported to be dating Grammy-nominated artist Kid Rock, according to associatedcontent.com. Pickler allegedly leaked the news on a radio interview that she'd been seeing someone for over a year.

The romance between Pickler and Rock (born Robert Ritchie), is "the worst kept secret in Nashville," according to a Yahoo! News report. Suspicions arouse when Kid Rock showed up at the CMT Video Awards with ex-flame Sheryl Crow. Yahoo reported that Rock only attended the show to be close to Pickler.

Pickler, who made her debut on the 5th season of American Idol, revisited the show in 2009. Pickler has won several CMT Music Awards, as well as several awards from the American Society of Compsers, Authors and Publishers.

Kid Rock, who has gone from hardcore rapper to heavy metal, blues, southern rock and country music, was married for a short time to Baywatch alumna Pamela Anderson. He also dated Sheryl Crow for a short time.
