America in concert on Maui this Saturday night, August 8th and they will be playing at the Macc's events lawn.

This owtdoor concert will open their door at 6 PM and the show will kick off at 7.

Tickets are still available and you will find ticket information at www.mauiarts.org .

Original members Dewey Bunnell and Gerry Buckley will be taking us for a ride down memory lane with favorites such as A Horse With No Name, I Need You, Ventura Highway, and Sister Golden Hair.

Maui's local band Hapa will open the concert.

Michael Jackson, we recently discovered, contacted the band America asking permission to record a version of one of their classic hits, A Horse With No Name. I understand that there are bits and pieces of that version on the internet, but not in its entirerty.
