This is an easy category to break down for you and an important one.
Here is how to choose your Luau on Maui.
If you are staying down on the south side of the Island, than you will choose between the Wailea Marriott Luau or The Maui Prince Hotel Luau. Those are the two available on the south side.
The rest of them are on the west side and you have the following choices.
In Lahaina, at 505 Street, is The Feast at Lele, and further North in Lahaina, across from The Cannery Mall, is The Old Lahaina Luau.
The rest are in Kaanapali and they are on the property grounds of The Hyatt Regency, The Sheraton, and The Royal Lahaina Resort,
Do a goggle search to check out the official home page of each of these luaus. They are all good in their own right.
Location makes a difference. The open bar is included in the ticket price, so do one close to where you are staying. Remember that The Old Lahaina Luau does NOT have a fire dancer, and bills itself as the only traditional luau on Maui. The Feast at LeLe is more upscale, and has individual table service, and does have the fire dancer. These two are produced from the same management company.
Fresh flower leis will be given to you at The Old Lahaina Luau, and The Feast at LeLe. The rest of the luaus will provide shell leis.
Enjoy the luau and remember to bring a light wrap in the evening, as the luau will end after the sun goes down.
Aloha Nui
