Tucson Wine: A Celebration of Pinot Envy
Celebrate the Pinot grape as in Pinot Noir (sounds like a Raymond Chandler mystery), Pinot Blanco, and Pinot Grigio.
On Saturday August 22, Hacienda del Sol Guest Ranch Resort celebrates the Pinot family at the First Annual Pinot Noir Festival. Wine aficionados can sample a worldly collection of wines from the Hacienda wine cellar which boasts almost 25,000 bottles of wine with more than 2,000 labels.
Pinots come from Calif, Oregon, France, Australia, Germany, and New Zealand.
Pinots will be paired with house pâtés, antipasti, grilled meats, artisan cheese, freshly baked breads, and summer berries.
The cost is $50/person.
For more info:  Reservations must be made in advance by calling 520-299-1501. Hacienda del Sol Guest Ranch Resort is located at 5601 N. Hacienda del Sol Road in Tucson's fabulous foothills.
