Mineral Makeup 101: Apply mineral eye shadow like a pro
Professional makeup artists know that dramatic rich colors are found in loose mineral eye shadow powders. Mineral makeup brands often offer the widest selection of color, texture, and formulas. Most important, loose powder mineral eye shadows are considered natural earth friendly.
1. Using the mineral eye shadow sifter jar lid, tap a small amount of the loose powder eye shadow color you have selected. A clean tissue is also an option to tap out powder instead of jar lid.
3. Tap off all excess loose eye from brush bristles. An overdose of mineral eye shadow powder on the eye lid can cause product to grab on skin or fall into the eye itself. Tapping off excess eye shadow powder prior to applying to eye lid is the key.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3.
5. With tip sides of makeup brush, gently tap and smooth mineral eye shadow onto eye lid starting at middle of eye lid and working out, and in. This will distribute the eye shadow powder evenly.

Not all

In the case of sheer mineral eye color application try repeating steps 1-6 above, change mineral makeup brands, or try the wet foil method for applying mineral eye shadow makeup.
