2009 Honda Odyssey - Mugen Edition

I am a purveyor of all things luxury - luxury cars, watches, jewelry, and the like.  I'm one of those guys who has to have his kicks just right.  The Nikes need to be "oh so fresh" and "clean clean."  I love my flat screen.  I adore my iPhone.  My Sean John jeans need to be pressed and starched just right.  How then could a guy like me extol the virtues of a mini-van?  Something just doesn't seem quite right with that, right?  Wrong.

The Honda Odyssey falls into the class of minivans, along side the Chrysler Town & Country and the Toyota Sienna, however it really should be in a class by itself.  Quite simply, there just is no comparison when considering the Odyssey.

I live in Louisiana, home to the Louisiana Lottery, the Multi-State Powerball and plenty of casino gambling, so I'm no stranger to hearing people discuss their plans for their winnings if they ever "hit it big."  They plan to buy a luxury vehicle with a pricetag that well exceeds a hundred grand and so on and so forth.  I always tell them, "Not me.  I will buy a Honda Odyssey Touring van for when I travel."  Of course, they give me a look like I have three heads, but I am not kidding.  I have just that much faith in this vehicle.

From the time you open the driver's door and sit down, you notice all of the bells and whistles that are almost always missing from a vehicle that costs under $40,000.00.  The Odyssey has a comfortable, wrap around cockpit with every gauge imaginable.  As you sit in the driver's seat, you notice everything around you and behind you - the 7 passenger seats, the more than ample, multiple storage compartments, the entertainment features for kids and adults alike - did I mention that it has Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System with voice recognition and rearview camera, DVD entertainment system, Bluetooth Hands Free Link, front and rear parking sensors, and privacy shades?  Need I say more?  I don't think anything else is necessary, although it has countless other amenities.

If you are in the market for a van, a luxury ride or both, this is the vehicle for you.  I could be here all day explaining my fascination with the Odyssey, but instead I urge you to visit your Honda sales professional for a test drive today.  You won't regret it and you'll be the star of your family once everyone takes that inaugural ride with you.

Don't forget to purchase a GAP policy when you finance your vehicle.
