October 15th kicks off the 10th Anniversary Season of The New Gallery Concert Series. This unique organization, under the leadership of Artistic Director Sarah Bob, annually presents a series of new pieces of music and visual art, along with the composers and artists who create them. A truly unique performance and art series, over the past ten yesrs NGCS has hosted 23 concerts with over 106 musical compositions, 27 world premieres and hundreds of works by over two dozen visual artists from around the world. The performances are intimate, and it is a rare treat to hear composers and visual artists speak about their work on the night of the event.

All events are held at the Community Music Center of Boston (34 Warren Avenue, Boston's South End, between Berkeley and Clarendon Streets, one block north of Tremont), and begin at 7pm. Ticket prices are $20 for adults, and $15 for students, seniors and children. The event on October 15th features the Piano Duo Stephen Drury and Yukiko Takagi with visual artwork on view by Warren Nichols. Visit the New Gallery Concert Series web site for the full season of event listings.
