American tourist enjoy a late-night snack in Mexico

There’s nothing better after a night at the bar than a greasy, spicy plate of food. Try these spots, and you’ll never go to bed hungry:

1. El Fogoncito  30th Avenue between 28th and 30th Streets. Eat with the locals who head straight for tacos and cerveza after their late shift working at the hotels.

2. La Taberna  Fifth Street between Quinta and 10th Avenue. Check your e-mail and have a hamburger before calling it a night.

3. Pizza Banana  12th Street at 10th Avenue. Grab a cheap slice of pepperoni and mushroom pizza and strike up a conversation with others doing the same.

4. Pizza 16  Quinta between 10th and 12th Streets. Near the top nightlife spots, this pizza joint gets busy when the bars let out. It’s a good place for a last chance at romance.
