Now that we have explored four great sites to create your internet business exposure we will now share how to mind the store, getting repeat customers and safety in collecting money from customers.

Minding your store, this is crucial you can not set up an internet business then just walk away. You have to stay on top of what is happening to determine if there are any modifications needed to increase cash flow. Below are some tips to help you mind the store, keep them coming back and protect yourself:
Sales Tax…Don’t forget!
Be sure you are collecting to appropriate sales tax for your area/state. You can check out this website to see what guidelines you need to follow http://www.business.gov/finance/taxes/state.html
Manage your offerings!
Use the tools offered by each platform to monitor sales, listings and shipments. Check your account at least once a day to see if any new activity has occurred, especially if there are any questions from customers.
Keep it legal!
Here I am referring to the IRS be sure you keep track of all expenses and sales in detail and meet with a CPA or CTEC to get your taxes done. When you go down this journey doing your own taxes is not recommended! Be sure to check into the self-employment tax if you make over $400.
Reach out and touch your customer!
As soon as you receive a sale be sure to email an acknowledgement to the buyer. Once you have shipped the item send another email letting them know you shipped their purchase and ALWAYS send a thank you for the business! I like to suggest a handwritten thank you to make it personal; we want them coming back for more!
Don’t give up!
If your item does not sell re-list it! Perhaps add a new photo, re-write the description or even modify the price. Business takes time and patience on our part.
Keep your customers coming back!
This is easy price the product right, be sure to use photos the show the entire item, use descriptive words in writing the text and give a little like free shipping.
Keep them interested!
Send out emails to previous customers if you launch a new product or even during the holidays gift idea reminders are a great way to get a repeat customer.
Brag, brag, brag!
Be sure to post any rave reviews from previous clients on your site! They are your best sales tools available!
Protect yourself!
I would recommend using a site like PayPal to conduct business, there are others out there that cost a little more. This way you have privacy of your personal accounts. Be sure to let a check clear before shipping any products if you get one.

This are just a few pointers in getting started, why not start your business today! Write your goals and ideas down then see if they are a fit to these four sites, the easy way to start your own business! What do you love to do? Is your passion a fit to these sites? Then today is a great day to make it happen!
