This year Metal Blade records presents: The Baptized in Beer tour. July 26th this
hardcore event will hit Ridglea Theater in Fort Worth. Metal Blade records is known for
some of metal’s heaviest bands and some of the craziest shows. This years Baptized in
Beer tour will hold nothing back; with three of the label’s heavy hitters plus-three DFW
locals opening the Fort Worth show. Metal music lovers of all types will not be
disappointed; with plenty of moshing, booze and metal to fill their thirsty souls.
Sunday the 26th will start off with three local acts. Opening the show will be new comers
Overthrow followed by Southern Assault, then Earthrot will play before the first
Metal Blade band. The first local act may new comers to the scene but after playing as a
supporting act at the recent Earthrot cd release party-Overthrow-threw down and held
nothing back. Second local act to go on will be the well known guys from Southern
Assault, with their rebellious but brutal southern metal. Closing out the locals will be
Earthrot, whom recently brutalized the Ridgeal at their cd release.
Once the crowd is good and heated up… Metal Blade’s Woe of Tyrants will fire it up for
the national acts, followed by Lazarus AD and headliners Bison BC. All those who plan
on attending will not be disappointed and should go prepared for mass mayhem, super
sweaty hair and lots of B.O (body odor)!
All bands will be selling merch and of course Ridglea serves a full bar. This is an all ages
event.
