Guess who's coming to London? The Obama's arrived in London Tuesday night for the G20 economic summit - meetings amongst the 20 heads of the world's top economic powers. Michelle Obama did not stray from the fashion and style for which Americans have come to know her best. She left the White House in a Thakoon custom ivory tulle tweed coat with grosgrain piping and then disembarked Air Force One in London Tuesday night wearing a chartreuse silk short sleeve sheath dress and shawl collar by Jason Wu.  The modern First Lady also donned a Carrie-esque belt around, what is looking to be her favored color, a maise dress and black coat.

Next, Michelle Obama visited Maggie's Cancer Caring Centre with Sarah Brown, wife of British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, wearing a mint green pencil skirt and a shimmering cardigan by J. Crew. The J. Crew Crystal Constellation Cardigan sold out by mid morning the company reports. We know Michelle Obama likes her pearls and now we see she also favors the sparkly bits. We saw Michelle wear the maise colored sparkle coat by Isabel Toledo at the Inauguration and she wears a similar sparkle design by J. Crew with Jimmy Choo pumps.

The media is all a buzz about the First Lady's first encounter with the Queen of Britain, Queen Elizabeth II, and their warm and touchy meeting. The Queen initiated an embrace with placing her arm around Michelle Obama when Michelle reciprocated the touch. The moment made morning news because Queen Elizabeth II has not been known to touch people. Michelle Obama looked absolutely gorgeous in a Isabel Toledo dress and J. Crew black cardigan. Her hair pulled back was a flattering and lovely touch; I would want to embrace the First Lady too. Before meeting the Queen, Michelle was bare armed for pictures with the other wives of the world's powers - including Italian first lady Veronica Lario, Britain's Sarah Brown, Russia's Svetlana Medvedev, and Brazil's Marisa Leticia Lula da Silva - showing off her fit physique.

Looking Forward: Michelle Obama will be meeting with French first lady, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, tomorrow. Ex-Model Carla Bruni is known for her high style favoring high end French designers - Chanel, Dior, Vuitton. She is the First Lady of fashion at the world's fashion capital - Paris. The Ladies are both under pressure to make fashion statements. When Bruni-Sarkozy accompanied her husband on his first state visit to Britain last year, she sported a violet-colored coat. Obama wore a sleeveless purple dress when her husband addressed Congress in February. Is purple the new power color?

Stay tuned to find out how the First Lady matches up.
