I'm a big fan of blogs.  I probably have close to two dozen bookmarked in my favorites.  Sometimes they are a good source for material, but mostly it's just nice to get a glimpse into someone else's life and into their head.  There's some good news for me:  a number of bloggers are having books published this spring.  If you happen to be a fan, you might want to grab a pen and jot down these titles and get yourself on the waiting list at your local library.

Book:  Beyond Heaving BosomsThe Smart B*tches Guide to Romance Novels by Sarah Wendell and Candy Tan, to be released April 14, 2009

Blog:  Smart B*tches, Trashy Books

Wendell and Tan are the brains behind this witty blog.  They routinely critique and review romance novels and often give away free books and ebooks.  Wendell and Tan also were responsible for discovering last year that romance author Cassie Edwards had basically plagiarized history books to make her historical fiction sound more authentic.

Book:  Rattled: A Memior by Christine Coppa, to be released April 14, 2009

Blog:  Storked!

Coppa's blog is about being a young single mother.  She's funny and honest.  I'm expecting her book to be much of the same with a little more background on her son's mysterious and absent father.

Book:  Go Fug Yourself Presents the Fug Awards by Heather Cocks and Jessica Morgan, to be released February, 5 2009

Blog:  Go Fug Yourself

Cocks and Morgan are snarky and fun with their commentary on the usually awful clothes that celebrities wear.  They are witty and dead on with their commentary.  Their book is full of delicious new snark.
