Britney Spears, celebrity author?

Maybe the celebrity memoir is not dead after all. Word on the street (or in the Mirror and Jezebel.com) is that Britney Spears not only scored herself a literary agent but a 10 million pound (roughly 18-20 million U.S. dollars) publishing deal to write (or hire a ghost writer) three to five books in the next 10 years.
These books will likely focus on her rise to teen popstar, her mommy years, and her nervous breakdown. Remember that Spears is only 27. Rumor is that she's kept diaries all this time. Perhaps this book deal will only help her comeback. Her new album Circus has done well and tickets for her upcoming tour are selling fast.
No details have been set as to when we can expect a book to be released. I would hope it is soon as our bookstores sure need a boost.
