Monday, November 24rd

Elliot Bay Book Company :Alex Kuo, the writer in residence at Washington State University, will discuss his book "White Jade and Other Stories" at 7:30 p.m. (free).  Third Place Books (Bothell):  Author Bert Bender and illustrator Tony Angell will discuss their book "Catching the Ebb:  Drift Fishing for a Life in the Cook Inlet" at 7 p.m. (free).  King County Library (Black Diamond Branch) presents the early literacy puppet show "Dewey and Sketch Roadshow" at 10 a.m. (free).

Tuesday, November 25th

University Book Store (U-District)Lloyd Kahn will read from and sign his book "Builders of the Pacific Coast" at 7 p.m. (free).  Third Place Books (Bothell):  Folk musician and author, Peter Yarrow, will give a free concert from his book and CD series for younger readers "Favorite Folk Songs" and "Sleepytime Songs" at 7p.m. (free)  Elliot Bay Book Company:  Author Carolyne Wright will read from her book "Majestic Nights:  Love Poems of Bengali Women" at 7:30 p.m. (free)  Robert McNamara will read from his book "The Cat Under the Stairs:  Poems of Sarat Kumar Mukhopadhyay" at 7:30 p.m. (free).

Friday, November 28th

King County Library (Muckleshoot Branch):  presents the early literacy puppet show "Dewey and Sketch Roadshow" at  1 p.m. (free).
