The 2008 Presidential election is just two weeks away and if the constant media coverage, Saturday Night Live skits, and debates haven't  quenched your thirst for politics yet I have a few books that might strike your fancy.

Fiction:

"Sammy's Hill" and "Sammy's House" by Kristin Gore

"Gossip of the Starlings" by Nina de Gramont

"American Wife" by Curtis Sittenfeld

"Election" by Tom Perrota

Young Adult:

"Vote For Larry" by Janet Tashjian

"Wide Awake" by David Levithan

Nonfiction:

"Promises to Keep: On Life and Politics" by Joe Biden

"Sarah: How a Hockey Mom Turned the Political Establishment Upside Down" by Kaylene Johnson

"Why Courage Matters: The Way to a Better Life", "Faith of My Fathers: A Family Memoir", and "Worth the Fighting For: A Memoir" by John McCain

"Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance" and "The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on reclaiming the American Dream" by Barack Obama

Graphic Novels:

"Steal Back Your Vote" by Greg Palast and Bobby Kennedy, Jr.

Seattle Public Library has a few suggestions for political satire as well.
