New Orleans Police Training Academy
New Orleans Police Superintendent Warren Riley And New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin will do the honors at the opening of the new NOPD Municipal Training Academy at 4600 Paris Ave at 4:30 p.m. today.The city purchased the building
at 4600 Paris Ave in May.I think this bodes well for the new recruits that
moved into the building last week.The former location at
Jackson Barracks at 6400 St. Claude Ave. was only temporary after hurricane
katrina.
