I was thinking about a piece to right about and some thoughts came to
mind.I initially wanted to right about the Louisiana Black Caucus and how
poor a job they are doing,everyone of them, Badon,Richmond,Lafonze ,you guys
better stop reacting and start enacting,your jobs can potentially effect all of us in
Louisiana for years to come,that's if we do not leave first .I am actually thinking
of getting married soon to a pretty wealthy little number of east indian
persuasion that has bested me in a game of Love and War,under the states
present conditions I do not feel safe raising a family here,I write for the
love because I do not get paid.I want to thank the Bobby Jindal administration
for allowing access to the State Legislators financial disclosures,a powerful tool for the people.So geting back to this piece
,I thought to myself who in the State Legislature has been begging for
attention,a name popped up John F. Labruzzo Jr.You know the guy that wanted to enact a law to sterilize women on welfare
and to drug test public aid recipients.Where have I heard this before,the initials D.D. come to mind.Anyway cudo's to you John
you scored brownie points with your blue collar constituents and firmly entrenched yourself as a right winger with your radical
ideas.I was looking at the financial disclosure records which all state legislators had to file by May 15 2009,I was a little
suprised to see Labruzzo's written in pen with a couple of scratch outs,I guess he was in a rush.The financial disclosure
shows his wife,Brandi M. Labruzzo an attorney,works for Blue Williams Law Firm ,her income is listed as level III (spouses do
not list exact amounts) which means she makes something between 25k-100k,my guess is she makes more then him and I
will tell you why,the level III is based on tier 2 R.S. 42:1124.2 ,well this law firm that Brandi Lapruzzo works at specializes in
taxation rember that word.Well when you look at John Labruzzo's docket of legislation (click on search in upper right hand
corner then choose Labuzzo from select a member in the middle) it seems all he has been working on
lately are tax credit legislation.One
HB86 Authorizes the wind or solar energy systems tax credit to apply to commercial or business property and provides for the
transferability of such credit,this obviously is not for his constituents,no he took care of them with the welfare
and sterilization media circus that gave them a warm fuzzy feeling inside,no this looks more like John and Brandi Labruzzo's
needs being taken care of.Lets suppose for an instance that I am a lawyer and I have a client that wants to save money by
getting a tax break,what if I could magically change the law or even better make a new one,boy that would be worth alot to
some of my clients would it not.This is all just hypothetical speculation of course in how law makers make money behind the
smoke screens,some more advanced then others , you can do your own research on any one of your favorite state
legislators by using the tools I have given you in this piece.Check back or subscribe to my feed as I will examine a new
