Find out more about Kristen: Kristen DiPaolo is currently a writer for WAGA Fox 5 in Atlanta. She’s spent nearly ten years working in television news. Kristen has dedicated much of her time to pediatric health stories. As a producer for the Atlanta-based Connect With Kids Network, Kristen’s job was to alert parents to some of the top risks to kids' physical, social and emotional health. The stories aired during the newscasts of more than 50 television stations across the country. She also produced “Caught in the Web,” a documentary on children and the pitfalls of technology. Kristen won a scholarship to the University of Colorado's Evidence-Based Healthcare Journalism Workshop, where she learned to assess the validity of medical studies.
