The results from the FL Styling and Events makeover are in!
This past Sunday’s fashion makeover contest was a success, but YOU decide…did Candice’s makeover really make her over?!

The past few years, Candice has dealt with the hassles and stress of custody battles of her little sister. She has done nothing but play “mother” and be selfless, not worrying about her but rather the well being of her little sister and how she was feeling. Candice has longed to feel her age, a mere 22, but has surpassed that age in stress. Orchestrator, FL Styling and Events, along with sponsor Oscar Fierro and co-sponsors Daniel Blaylock, Veronica Duran, Brad Shaub, and Elisa Monterroso made this makeover event a success by coming together and lending a helping hand.

The makeover started with Fanitsa Limberis picking up Candice and giving her a consultation on her wardrobe, incorporating her lifestyle, and well as taking her fashion concerns into account. Then Candice was taken to the Oscar Fierro boutique where she was greeted with champagne and h'or deurves, compliments of the Oscar Fierro.
Brad Shaub, fitness director and trainer, spoke with Candice about where she wanted to be physically and made a plan of how to get there. “It will be hard work, but if you stay focused…you will get there…you’re a tough girl.”
Veronica Duran, the Creative Director for Toni and Guy, then proceeded to color and cut Miss Stigleman’s hair using the best techniques available today.
“I am going to use some lighter tones on Candice’s hair and some warm undertones to make the blonde she already has ‘pop’.” –Duran
After, makeup artist, Daniel Blaylock taught Candice how to use warm spring colors to “accentuate her green eyes”, and give her a summer, sweet glow by “sweeping a bronze color in a 3 shape from her forehead, around her temple, into her cheek-bone, and then around her jaw line.”
“Daniel showed me exactly how to keep up my makeup to look and feel fresh, he explained everything step by step...and Veronica, well, I decided that I will be going back to her every month for touch ups and to keep the hair-style going, she really is amazing.”
Oscar Fierro then counseled Candice on her dress, styled by FL Styling and Events, and spoke with her about how to keep her look going. “You really need to believe in yourself…you’re a beautiful woman… and now you can feel that way too.”
And to finish the day off, Candice picked out her favorite designer headband designed especially for her by Elisa Monterroso, and finally, in Oscar Fierro style, the music was turned up and Candice walked the runway upstairs!
