Fashion on Fridays- Cashmere socks
It’s getting chilly in Dallas; the smell of the winter air, and the crisp scent that the holidays are here! Many stores already putting up there Christmas décor and everyone is taking their winter coats out for the season. Most people think about sweaters, dresses, coats, but what about your feet? Don’t they need to be treated too? Just because its winter doesn’t mean that is an excuse to stop getting pedicures, or not give your feet the treatment that they need, like being protected in those winter boots of yours! Why not treat yourself to a pair of cashmere socks this season?
Cashmere is expensive but for good reason and well worth it too. Cashmere fibers are just not any kind of wool fibers. The goats used to create Cashmere fibers have to be in different parts of Asia, India, Outer Mongolia, Afghanistan, Iran or the Soviet Union, otherwise they will not produce the fibers needed to make Cashmere because of the climates and habitats. Furthermore, each fine fiber has to be separated from the coarser fibers that are mixed in the goat’s fleece to give you that wonderful feeling of luxury. So when you think about it, paying a mere $48 for a pair is nothing for a small dose of luxury to keep those piggys of yours warm for the winter or it would make a great gift for a loved one!
