Winter is around the corner but "fall" is here, referring to the falling leaves all around us.  Regardless if you are raking leaves or shoveling snow here are some tips to keep you and others safe.

Tip #2 - Use your legs

  • Stand with your legs shoulders width apart to decrease the stress on your arms.
  • Bend your legs when lifting to keep your lower back safe.
  • Instead of dragging bags of leaves while walking back wards carry heavy bags on each side or pull them behind you to distribute the weight and decrease any chance of falling.
