Twilighters, rejoice: the fourth and final installment in the Twilight series, Breaking Dawn, will in fact hit the big screen - and maybe even sooner than expected.
As reported earlier this week, the third film, Eclipse, will begin shooting August 17 in Vancouver, and the series' second film, New Moon, will hit theaters November 20. According to E! Online's Ted Casablanca, star Ashley Greene, who plays vampire Alice Cullen, said of the fourth film, "We're going to start right after Eclipse."
But there will be a significant shift from the third flick, as Greene points out, there will most likely be someone new at the helm. When asked if any previous directors would return, Green said, "[Eclipse director] David [Slade] and [New Moon director] Chris [Weitz] will both be busy in postproduction, and Catherine [Hardwicke] will be doing Hamlet."
So, any chance we could petition Summit and Stephanie Meyer to bring the unfinished fifth book, Midnight Sun, to the big screen?
