
Matt Damon was forced to pull out of a San Francisco charity event last night due to a "family emergency of a serious nature," according to E! News.
"He wouldn't have missed this otherwise," his rep said.
Damon was scheduled to host the Second Annual OneXOne Fundraiser at San Francisco's Bimbo's 365 Club. Charlize Theron, Jeremy Piven, and other stars appeared at the event which benefited organizations committed to helping children and fighting global health crises. Damon, along with soccer star Mia Hamm is a OneXOne ambassador.
E! News reports that Damon was spotted walking in Boston with his wife Luciana, their daughter Gia and an older couple.
