As we sit in our Portland area homes, playing online poker and day dreaming that we’re really seated around a legendary poker table in Las Vegas, what better way to snap out of it with an honest opportunity to do just that? Doyles Room is presenting just such an opportunity, awarding massive prize packages to the WPT Doyle Brunson 5 Diamond Poker Classic.

Winners of this incredible prize package from Doyles Room will spend 48 hours on the Las Vegas Strip, first hob-knobbing with the legend, Doyle Brunson himself. Who better to show you around Vegas than the man who’s seen it all?

Doyles 5 Diamond Tournament

After chilling with the hottest poker pro of our time, you’ll get to face him on the felt. The prize package includes the $15,000+$400 buy-in to the WPT Doyle Brunson 5 Diamond Poker Classic is schedule for December, 2009 at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.

There are two ways to win a dream weekend with Doyle Brunson, but only one way to claim the seat in the WPT event. Members of Doyles Room, and Doyles rakeback players  can Sit’n’Go Step their way to Vegas for as little as $0.22, awarding the full prize package – a weekend with Doyle and a seat in the 5 Diamond Poker Classic. Avid ring game players can also win a weekend with Mr. Brunson.

Ring Game Leaderboard competitions are being held monthly, where each month’s most active ring game player will be packing their bags for Vegas with Doyle Brunson. Online poker players who finish in place 2-10 won’t go away empty handed, claiming a free bounty entry in the next week’s event.

For the full Vegas experience, hit the SNG Steps satellites, hosted round the clock at Doyles Room. You’ll have to work your way through 10 Steps to obtain the ultimate prize. Steps start as low as $0.22, or 1 Gold Chip. The 1st and 2nd place finisher of each Step (except Step 10) will move on to the following Step. 3rd, 4th and 5th place finishers will get to repeat the current step, free of charge (except for Step 1; only 3rd and 4th win a repeat.)

Players can also buy their way into higher steps, but the price tag rises with each step, starting at $0.22 for Step 1 and $0.68 for Step 2; scaling up to $1,289.50 for Step 9 and $3,750 for the 10th and final Step.

The top 3 players in a Step 10 satellite will claim a prize. 1st place, of course, wins the $17,000 prize package to Vegas, including a $15,400 seat in the WPT Doyle Brunson 5 Diamond Poker Classic, 2nd place will get to take another shot at the next Step 10 satellite, and 3rd place will receive $250.
