Recently a friend of mine noted that Smart USA had an uphill battle. After all, their vehicle was much like a single egg holder with wheels, making it a great interurban commuting vehicle, but excelling at little else. After all, you never see Smart cars in road rallies, drag racing, or on long road trips. In addition, the Smart car isn’t one of the top “cool” cars; you’ll likely never see James Bond driving up to a casino in one.
However, don’t dismiss the Smart car yet. With a narrow wheelbase, room for a bigger engine, and a very lightweight body, it does have the potential to do some pretty nifty tricks. As demonstrated in a video you can view by clicking here.
