The CFDA Fashion Awards, presented Monday night in New York, offer a time when designers get to shine in the spotlight and their friends don their fashions. Actress Diane Kruger went with Jason Wu, nominated for the Swarovski Award for Womenswear. Wu, a favorite of First Lady Michelle Obama, lost to Alexander Wang, another Obama favorite.
