This is the mother load of budget events in Denver! This Saturday, November 7th from 5 to 10pm, 11 Denver museums will be open past closing time and offering free admission. But wait, there’s more! The Cherry Creek Shopping Center is sponsoring free shuttle busses. Shuttles have routes to and from the various different museums, so make a list and visit them all. All shuttle riders will receive a discount “Passport to Shopping” pass that offers discounts to stores and restaurants too numerous to mention. The discounts are valid through January 31, 2010, so start saving now for those post-Christmas sales.

The list of Museums is as follows:
Black Americans West Museum
Byers-Evans House Museum
Children’s Museum of Denver
Colorado History Museum
Denver Art Museum
Denver Museum of Nature and Science
Forney Museum of Transportation
Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art
Molly Brown House Museum
Museo de las Americas
Museum of Contemporary Art Denver

Every museum has its own list of event, including re-enactments, painting, art performances, live music and art fitness training. Click here for a complete list of shuttle schedules and museum events for the evening: www.denver.org/DenverArtsWeek/NightAtTheMuseum.aspx

Hot Tip: Cherry Creek Shopping Center is the only location with free parking. Also, the ticketed Genghis Khan exhibit at the Denver Museum of Science and Nature is already sold out for the evening.
