The winners of the 2009 Christian Retailers Choice awards have been announced at the International Christian Retail Show in Denver. Among the winners are:

Fiction: General
Fireproof, Eric Wilson (Thomas Nelson)

Fiction: Mystery and Suspense
Dead Heat, Joel C. Rosenberg (Tyndale House Publishers)

Fiction: Women’s
“Sunrise Series”: Sunset, Karen Kingsbury (Tyndale House Publishers)

Particularly delighted with the news of Roseberg's win, Cheryl Kerwin of Tyndale House said, "When we acquired Joel, he was a virtual unknown in the Christian marketplace. Now, he has become a top-selling Christian author. And, he has become a highly sought after expert on the Middle East."

Rosenberg also writes non-fiction on the topic. His most recent book is Inside the Revolution, also published by Tyndale House.

Tyndale is enjoying a glowing moment in the spotlight as two of their authors also recently won Christy Awards.  Chris Fabry won in the contemporary standalone category for Dogwood. And, in the visionary category, Tom Pawlick won for Vanish.

Tyndale House is a Chicago area publisher. Founded in 1962 by Kenneth N. Taylor, the publisher's first book was a paraphrase Bible.
