Soldier of Love (Sony)

More than 25 years after she made her debut and nearly ten years since her last collection of new material, British Nigerian R&B singer Sade is releasing her new album this week, Soldier of Love. The album’s title track and lead single debuted at No. 58 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it Sade’s highest debut yet.

Also look for new records this Tuesday from Celtic Thunder (It’s Entertainment), Jaheim (Another Round), Massive Attack (Heligoland), Josh Turner (Haywire), Fear Factory (Mechanize), H. I. M. (Screamworks: Love in Theory and Practice, Chapters 1-13), Hot Chip (One Life Stand), K. D. Lang (Recollection), Allison Moorer (Crows), Smile Smile (Truth on Tape), Tobymac (Tonight), Watson Twins (Talking to You, Talking to Me), Yeasayer (Odd Blood) and New Orleans jazz/funk band Galactic (Ya-Kay-May), just in time to celebrate the Saints’ victory in Super Bowl XLIV.

Plus, check out new live albums from the Pretenders (Live in London) and Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds (Live in Las Vegas), who are teaming up for their third live disc after working together on the Grammy-nominated Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King.
