Last night NVIDIA played host to 300 of their fans in a loud and enthusiastic evening of 3D-enabled gaming along with a heated tournament, innovative demonstrations and many giveaways. Held at the company's Silicon Valley headquarters, this event also gave NVIDIA partner EVGA the chance to show off their latest motherboards and graphics cards.

Fueled on pizza baked by NVIDIA's in-house chefs, the crowd stayed hyped throughout the night. Over a dozen high end gaming computers were set up so guests could try out Batman: Arkham Asylum enabled with NVIDIA's 3D Vision technology. Playing the game also provided some last minute training for the evening's tournament, the prize being one of the company's latest graphics cards. Less skilled guests had other opportunities to win prizes, through a raffle, having a winning costume, or just being at the right place at the right time. According to NVIDIA, the prizes totaled over $7000 that night, which included t-shirts, games and a wide variety of graphics cards.

For some, the evening's highlight was the 10 minute theater demonstration of NVIDIA's 3D technology. This featured an impressive physics demo, a big screen demo of Arkham Asylum and an awe inspiring trailer of a Blu-ray 3D film showing the Nurburgring 24 Hour Race.

While not everyone won a prize, the company made sure no one left empty handed as candy-stuffed NVIDIA branded head beanies were given out upon exit. It was another great event by NVIDIA and was just another example of their commitment to their community of loyal customers.
