Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports that the Browns will interview former New York Jets head coach Eric Mangini. According to Cabot, the interview may happen today or sometime tomorrow.

Magnini, who was just recently fired by the Jets, started out his career with Cleveland as a ball boy. He also served as a public relations assistant.

As I reported earlier today, it was rumored Mangini would be a possible candidate since Bill Cowher showed no interest in coaching in Cleveland. Ironically, now Cowher is apparently holding discussions with the New York Jets as a possible replacement for Mangini.

Thanks Mr. Cowher, nothing like someone kicking an entire sports nation in the nuts!

Check out New York Jets examiner Angel Navedo for his take on the New York Jets and their pursuit of Bill Cowher.
