Expect to see a curious parallel in bookstores on November 17th. ORBooks has announced that the release of their alternative, liberal criticism of Sarah Palin's political legacy will occur on the same day that Sarah Palin's autobiography, "Going Rogue: An American Life", appears on shelves. Although the similar covers would seem to hint a prankish shot at Palin, the content of "An American Nightmare" is a serious exploration of Palin's flaws and errors through a collection of essays. The "evil twin" is co-authored by Richard Kim and Betsy Reed. Contributors of "Going Rouge: An American Nightmare" include Jim Hightower, Eve Ensler and Naomi Klein.

In an interview with The Insider, Reed said that the book is intended to show "who the real Sarah Palin is." Reed also denied ambition to confuse potential Sarah Palin supporters in their quest for her new autobiography.

The publisher's website describes their release as:
The most honest, revealing account of the Palin story to appear this fall? You betcha! Sarah Palin has many faces: hockey mom, fundamentalist Christian, sex symbol, Republican ideologue, fashion icon, "maverick" populist. But, above all, Palin has become one thing: an American obsession that just won't go away.

Whether your copy  has sunny or stormy skies, November 17th will prove to be an interesting day for the political genre.
