The Buffalo Bills are a mess right now. They fired their offensive coordinator a few days ago. Their offensive line is, well, offensive. They can’t seem to get out of their own way.
But they’re still dangerous.
The Bills have a passing game that, when on, can cause significant problems for any secondary. Never mind a secondary with three new starters playing together for the first time in a real game.
The key will be to pressure Trent Edwards. Edwards becomes a turnover happy quarterback when you pressure him. Knock him down a few times and he’ll give the ball back to you. It’s that simple.
The Bills have many, many things going against them Monday night.
Here are the most important ones.
The Bills’ offensive line has the potential to be really, really bad.
The Bills cornerbacks do not match up well with Wes Welker and Randy Moss.
Marshawn Lynch is suspended for Monday’s game.
The Patriots are playing at home, where Tom Brady hasn’t lost since George W. Bush had a good approval rating.
The Patriots have won 11 straight games against the Bills.
…and those are all off the top of my head.
Prediction:
Patriots 37, Bills 10
…and I’m being really, really generous by giving them 10.
