The horses will be judged on conformation, manners, performance, quality and substance and in some classes suitability of the horse to the rider.

Reining classes judge the horse and rider on their ability to perform the patterns correctly and smoothly.

In pleasure classes the rider should be at ease and the horse should be a pleasure to ride. Manners are very important as well as attitude, quality, conformation and performance.

The native costume classes consist the rider wearing Bedouin type attire. Flowing capes, coats, pantaloons, head dresses, colorful scarves and sashes. The horses wear minimal but elegant decoration typical of the Bedouins.
